Asthma Flare Up
Last night was tough. We had dinner with our friend Perry and that was fun. When we tried to put Lilli down to sleep, she started coughing. Our recent asthma class informed us that night time and mornings are the toughest times for asthmatics, and the episodes can be triggered by a cold or cold air, or dust, or coughing or allergies.... the list goes on.
So around 9:30 we finally get her "sound asleep" but still I hear coughing. She's managed to take off her diaper and when I check on her (screaming) at 2 AM, there's a huge puddle in the middle of the bed. Uggg. "Amy, I'll need your help with this..." I managed to roll Lilli to one side strip the bed and puddle pad, and re-make the bed (after a trip downstairs for a clean set of sheets). More wake ups ensue. We finally get some sleep between 2:30 and 6 and then she was up.
I see why some folk prefer to raise kids within a multi family community, it's easier.
